| At Careers by Design, we aim to achieve the objectives you seek to achieve.
Our clients come from a broad range of ages, backgrounds and occupations. Some want to work through a program of self-assessment, exploration of options, decision-making, job search strategy and skills and implementation to achieve a new career path. Others come with a specific need for a particular aspect of careers services such as interview coaching, job search skills development, assistance in researching occupations, self-awareness through MBTI or simply to talk through a career issue. Sometimes our clients are dealing with a difficult issue in the workplace or wanting to increase their workplace effectiveness. The human resources experience in CBD becomes particularly useful at these times so that workplace problems can be addressed appropriately and career planning can progress. Whatever the need, we are committed to a solution focused approach to ensure we get our clients moving forward quickly. This is achieved with a combination of approaches tailored to our client's individual needs, including coaching counselling, inventories, personality indicators (Myers Briggs Type Indicator and the Newly Revised STRONG inventory), card sorts, information interviewing, mind-mapping, scenario setting, networking and many other tools together with our support, motivation and inspiration!
